Stadtwald Landsberg am Lech im Porträt

Der städtische Wald ist insgesamt 2.400 ha groß und liegt zum Teil im Stadtgebiet, zum Teil im Landkreis Landsberg am Lech. Das sind ungefähr 3.500 Fußballfelder und fast die Hälfe der gesamten Stadtfläche. Davon gehören 520 ha in den Besitz der Stadt. Die restlichen 1800 ha sind Spitalwald und gehören der Heilig-Geist-Spitalstiftung Landsberg.
